The 1937 Roamer Shirt is Pike Brothers’ interpretation of a late-1930s American work shirt. It follows the original roomy fit for easy movement and all-day comfort. The model includes the characteristic “smoker’s pocket,” originally designed so a soft cigarette pack could be accessed without removing the whole pack — a detail commonly found in early 20th-century workwear.
This Red Flannel version is made from a Portuguese-woven 230gsm cotton fabric, brushed for softness and warmth. Construction includes a reinforced neck tab, cat-eye buttons, a pen pocket, and a pre-washed finish for a worn-in feel.
