Machinehead Moto Portugal Trail Experience
Machinehead Moto and Desert Rose Riding Academy have partnered to create our first dedicated Portugal trail riding tour.
Join us for five days exploring Portugal's beautiful Algarve, with three guided trail riding days, comfortable accommodation in Monchique and the chance to ride some of Europe's best off-road trails.
Ride with Machinehead Moto
This is our own dedicated Machinehead Moto tour, organised in partnership with Desert Rose Riding Academy.
We'll be travelling together as one group, with the experienced Desert Rose team taking care of the guiding, accommodation and logistics throughout the trip.
Whether you've ridden with us before or this is your first Machinehead event, we'd love you to join us.
Is This Tour Right for Me?
This tour is open to riders who have completed Desert Rose Level 1 training.
If you still need to complete Level 1, simply let us know on the registration form and Desert Rose can help arrange your training before the tour.

The Adventure
Dates: Monday 8 March – Friday 12 March 2027
You'll be based in the mountain town of Monchique, staying in a comfortable spa hotel while exploring some of Portugal's spectacular trails.
The itinerary also includes an overnight stay on Portugal's dramatic west coast before returning through more incredible riding the following day.
Pricing
Ride Your Own Motorcycle
Your motorcycle is transported to and from Portugal by Desert Rose.
£1,740 per rider
Desert Rose Rental Motorcycle
Ride one of Desert Rose's fully prepared trail bikes.
£1,495 per rider
A refundable £500 motorcycle damage deposit applies.
Single room supplement: £185
What You'll Need
Bring your own protective riding equipment, as riding gear isn't available to hire during the tour.
If you still need to complete Desert Rose Level 1 training, simply select the relevant option on the registration form.
Places Are Limited
The tour is limited to a small group or riders.
Once those places are filled, bookings will close.
