Over the summer months, we open the yard and garage at Machinehead Moto for Thursday evening Yard Socials — relaxed gatherings built around good company, bikes parked up, and food cooked on the fire.
There’s no pressure to stay. Just somewhere to head after work, grab something to eat, slow down for a while, and spend time with people who enjoy the same things — or are simply curious about what we’re building here.
How the yard fills up
People arrive for different reasons.
Some because they ride.
Some because they’re curious.
And some because a friend said, “You’ll like this place.”
Some are just beginning to wonder about motorcycles.
Others come because motorcycling is stitched into who they are.
And some come simply because they enjoy being around people who love bikes.
You don’t need to arrive on a motorcycle, and you don’t need to know anyone here.
These evenings naturally bring together people of all ages and all walks of life — riders and non-riders, first-timers and long-timers — sharing the same space, the same evening, the same unhurried pace.
About our Yard Socials
Yard Socials are deliberately low-key, relaxed summer evenings.
They’re the kind of nights where you arrive straight from work, lean on a bike, pick up some food, and end up staying longer than you planned because the conversation’s good and the atmosphere feels easy.
What to expect
- Fire-cooked food (often a hog roast, with vegetarian options)
- Motorcycles gradually filling the yard
- Relaxed conversation and familiar faces
- Occasional live music in the background
Drop in for half an hour or stay all evening.
